“Morning Glory”

     The morning glory image was silk screened onto clear glass. I used the “four color process” method to apply transparent enamels to the glass.  Additional color was applied  by hand after the first firing to add shading.

     The green leaf border  was done by applying black vitreous paint over green glass and scratching the design in the paint before firing.  The panel is constructed with zinc came and measures  17.5” x 16.5”.
