“Crystal Fish”

   I constructed this panel using only clear textured glasses.The central element of this panel consists of a circular piece of beveled glass into which I deeply sandblasted an image of swimming fish. The sandblasted area was then acid- etched to remove the frosted surface created by the sandblasting leaving a “crystal” clear area.  Panel is assembled with lead came and is framed with steel rebar measuring 19”x 24”.
